Transfer Call Command
The 'Transfer Call' command will use transfer a caller to another phone extension using flash-hook transfer. This works on an internal PBX system. You can also transfer, externally, using three-way calling, providing you have this service as part of your PBX system.
- Play message: - this plays a greeting message to the caller. The default message is 'Transfer' which states "Hello...if you know the extension you require, enter this on your telephone keypad now, followed by the hash key, or wait to be transferred to an operator".
- Timeout: - this option will timeout and move to the next available command, if the caller has failed to enter a touchtone within the allocated period of time. For instance, if 'timeout' is set to 120 (2 minutes), and no touchtone has been entered during this period, the next command will be executed.
- Touchtones#: - the number of touchtones STFax should expect, before trying to transfer to the number requested.
- Fixed number: - you can choose to enter a fixed number. This forces the transfer call command to dial this pre-set number automatically. This option will be used within the advanced tree script to transfer a caller to a pre-set extension from a menu greeting.
